CLUB STATEMENT

Clachnacuddin FC are pleased to update supporters on some recent changes to the club structure. We can this evening confirm 3 additions to the board of directors, 5 additions to the management committee, Mental Health Liaison Officer,Reserves Coach & a new Head of Development. 

 

Board of Directors  

Chris Stewart – Chairman

The Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of local businessman and lifelong supporter Chris Stewart to the board and position of Chairman. Chris is a director at HES (Highland Electrical Services) Limited and brings to the board a wealth of attributes & shares the vision of the board for creating a strong and successful Clachnacuddin Football Club.

 

Grant Munro – Director of Football 

The football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Grant Munro as Director of Football. Grant is highly respected within the Highlands for his achievements and commitment to football and brings to the club a vast knowledge & experience in Scottish football as a player & manager within SHFL along with a wealth of attributes. Grant will be responsible for overseeing entire football operations within the club, encompassing all areas from player recruitment through to Youth Development. 

 

Sandra Duncan – Director 

We are pleased to announce that Sandra Duncan will be re-joining the board of directors. Sandra is well known within the football club and has been a fantastic asset to the club over her many years of involvement undertaking many key roles at the football club. Sandra promotes & operates our Weekly Lily Lotto aswell as our club accounts and supply chain. 

 

Committee Members

David MacDougal – Commercial 

Ali MacIver – Commercial 

We are extremely grateful and delighted to announce that David MacDougal, known to many as Dougal, has agreed to join the football club and taking on a lead role on the commercial team with responsibilities for commercial sponsorship & matchday hospitality packages. Dougal will also be joined by Ali MacIver who will work alongside Dougal on the commercial team securing key sponsorship for the club aswell as promoting opportunities for local businesses to advertise their business and entertain their guests at Grant Street Park.

 

Connor MacIntyre – Social Media 

Daniel Nisbet – Social Media & Player Sponsorship

Connor & Dan joined the football club in December 2023 and have taken on responsibilities for managing our social media accounts creating engaging content and promoting various club activities across our media platforms. In line with our values of community involvement, the social media team have been working closely with schools in the Inverness area and working on initiatives geared towards giving youngsters the opportunity to utilise their skills in creating engaging matchday & social media content amongst many other initiatives. 

Daniel Nisbet will also be managing our player sponsorships.

 

Neil Parish – Mental Health Liaison Officer 

As a further testament to Clachnacuddin being a Football Club in the Heart of the Community, we are delighted to announce Neil Parish as our Mental Health Liaison Worker as part of our wider team. Neil will play a key role in us delivering on our values and will act as a point of contact in order to provide basic support and education/ information. Neils role will help us raise awareness of Mental Health, the stigma associated with it and how football(and the Club in particular) can be of huge benefit in achieving optimal mental health. Neil will also assist with arranging community-linking events that address mental health and loneliness and isolation. 

 

Football 

Paul MacLennan – Head of Development 

We are delighted to announce that Paul Maclennan has taken on the role of Head of Development within the football club. This role will see Paul responsible for the Development of the Under 18s & Under 16s squads competing within the SHFL Youth League. Pauls responsibilities will include supporting & co-ordination of the youth coaches across each age group, managing & promoting the club policy on player development and transition between age groups.

 

Gary Davidson – Reserves Head Coach 

The club are pleased to announce that Gary Davidson is returning to the football club and will be taking on the role of Head Coach within our Reserves Squad. Gary is well known& very well respected within the football community in the Highlands and brings a wealth of experience to the clubhaving previously been involved within youth development setups at a number of SHFL and SPFL clubs over the years. Gary knows what the club is about having played a key role in managing our successful youth development programme alongside the late John Beaton.
